EUROPE SPENT ROUGHLY €360 billion on business travel in 2025, according to the GBTA's Business Travel Index Outlook. That was amid rising costs and a consolidating TMC market. What's on the horizon?

SPAIN's ECONOMY IS FLOURISHING. The country is seeing a corresponding increase in business travel, especially from strong SMEs and an aggressive meetings and events calendar.

LITTLE FROTH IN TMC MERGERS. As business travel spend finally surpasses pre-covid highs, the story may not be about increased travel but increased costs driven by macro effects. TMC consolidation at the same time... and the market is challenging for travel buyers.
