BIGGEST INNOVATION OF 2025
In 2025, DGI built upon its previously developed AI tool, designed to make the work of the reservations team easier. DGI’s data team has transformed this tool from an information-summarisation tool into a fully integrated automation engine. By syncing seamlessly with the online booking platform, the AI tool has evolved from merely "reading" requests to actively executing them and providing quotes.
Since rolling out to more teams, it is now saving agents 53 hours a week in administrative tasks, and the company projects that it will take on the capacity of 10 full-time consultants when fully touchless. This leap in efficiency allows us to absorb significant volume growth equivalent to over 25% of the current workforce - without increasing overhead.
Currently, 33% of all air, rail and hotel bookings are now created automatically via AI, with a projected trajectory to reach 80%.
