AIR-INDIA has introduced a direct service from Kolkata to Heathrow. The new flight, which is being operated on the Delhi ” Dhaka ” Kolkata ” London route on a thrice weekly basis ” Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, will also provide connectivity between Delhi ” Dhaka; Dhaka ” Kolkata and Dhaka ” London. A three class Boeing 777 is being used. This is the third long haul flight of the international flag carrier launched in the past three months. The other two are Delhi ” Frankfurt ” Los Angeles and Delhi ” Amritsar ” Birmingham ” Toronto.
