Patrice Gordon
British Airways has appointed former Virgin Atlantic executive Patrice Gordon as the carrier's new director of global sales.
Gordon will take up her new role in September when she will have responsibility for BA’s global sales, distribution and account management teams.
She previously worked for BA’s finance department between 2009 and 2015, and later spent five years with Virgin Atlantic in various roles, including director of commercial strategy development, where she was responsible for leading Virgin’s transatlantic joint venture with Delta Air Lines, Air France and KLM.
Over the past four years, Gordon has been CEO of global leadership consultancy Eminere, which she founded in 2022.
“I'm delighted to be returning to British Airways at such an exciting time for the airline,” said Gordon in a statement. “British Airways has ambitious plans for the future, and I'm looking forward to working with colleagues and partners around the world to build on our success and continue delivering for our customers.”
When she takes up her new role, Gordon will become part of BA’s commercial leadership team and report to the airline’s chief commercial officer Colm Lacy.
