KLM is planning to restart flights between Amsterdam and Tel Avi later this month after a gap of six months, although restored services will include a stop in Cyprus.
The Dutch carrier has not flown from Schiphol to Tel Aviv since the end of February, with services officially suspended from 1 March following the outbreak of the Iran war.
KLM now plans to resume Schiphol-Tel Aviv flights on 25 August with a “quick stop” at Larnaca in Cyprus where its crew will stay overnight.
The airline has also confirmed that flights from Amsterdam to Dubai, Dammam and Riyadh will remain “paused” up to 24 October.
Meanwhile, sister carrier Air France’s latest update reveals that flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Dubai and Beirut remain suspended up to 18 August. Services from Paris to Riyadh are paused until 14 August.
