Gray Dawes Group has acquired travel management company Executive Travel for an undisclosed amount, significantly boosting its North American operations, the UK-based TMC announced on Monday (3 August).
The acquisition, which was completed on 30 July, is Gray Dawes' 17th acquisition to date and brings its total headcount to 600 people and annual revenue close to the $1 billion mark, according to the TMC.
Gray Dawes first expanded into the US market with the acquisition of Florida-based Express Travel in 2023, and the acquisition of Nebraska-based Executive Travel more than doubles its US presence, according to BTN stablemate The Beat.
In a statement, Gray Dawes Group CEO Suzanne Horner said the acquisition further boosts Gray Dawes' capabilities to service clients with global needs.
"The ongoing consolidation taking place in the TMC world has left a significant void for an internationally located, mid-sized, service- and technology-focused provider in the US," according to Horner. "Adding the experience, reputation and scale of Executive Travel positions Gray Dawes perfectly to fill that void."
Executive Travel will transition to the Gray Dawes Travel brand under a "phased integration period," during which it will continue using the Executive Travel. Clients of Executive Travel will keep their current account teams with additional access to the technology and support network of Gray Dawes, the TMC said.
Executive Travel CEO Paul Glenn, who will remain in his role at the TMC, in a statement said there is a "remarkably strong" strategic fit between the two TMCs, and the acquisition "broadens the services available to our clients and gives us the scale to compete even more effectively in an increasingly global marketplace."
Gray Dawes was named Europe's 12th largest TMC in BTN Europe's annual Leading TMCs report with gross European sales of €637 million in 2025. It also ranked as the ninth largest TMC in the UK, with £288 million in gross sales last year.
