The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers says its members have posted an increase in occupancy over the first three months of 2010.
The average occupancy of member apartments in London was up 4% on the first quarter of last year, to 85%.
However, apartments in London have traded occupancy for rates, it seems, having seen a drop in the average weekly rent of 2.4%, to £778.
Between January and March, properties outside London saw an increase in occupancy of 5% on Q1 2009, to 73%.
The ASAP has also announced three members will be exhibiting at the Business Travel Market in June, while the apartment association will be an Association Partner for the 2011 Business Travel and Meetings Show.
