A NEW CONFERENCE for independent travel management companies based in the UK and Ireland is to take place in London next year. The Independent Business Travel Agents' Conference (IBTAC) is being held at the Grange hotel, near St Paul's, on Monday, February 7.
The event is being organised by travel industry lawyer Ian Skuse, of Piper Smith Watton, and financial expert Andrew Burnham, of MacIntyre Hudson. Buying Business Travel and online sister publication Air and Business Travel News (ABTN.co.uk) are media partners for the launch event.
The forum will provide delegates with an invaluable networking opportunity. There will be a number of supplier workshops and an array of high-profile speakers, including Richard Gooding, chief executive of London City airport, Ken McLeod, director corporate of agency consortium Advantage Business Travel, and ABTA chairman John McEwan.
