Travel data platform Clarasight has launched a new set of AI-powered data management agents that it says can unify data across disparate systems.
The agents can access companies' data from travel management companies, card programmes, expense platforms and human resources systems to assess their quality and bring them together in a "unified model," according to Clarasight.
The company explained that the agents' decisions in building that model are "logged" and "auditable," and in instances where confidence is low, they are escalated to be reviewed by humans.
Clarasight’s co-founder and CEO Adam Braun added that the agents "fix the foundation" of data, from which travel buyers can operate AI workflows and automated reporting confidently.
"Travel managers are some of the most data-dependent operators in any company, and they're often flying blind," said Braun in a statement. "Not because the data didn't exist, but because nobody could unify it fast enough to act on it."
The company said clients who have used these agents have been able to go live on the data platform 66 per cent faster than previous attempts. They have also been able to cut most monthly data review cycles, freeing up their team for other tasks.
