BCD Travel’s consultancy arm Advito is introduced a new service to help clients plan and adopt AI tools within their businesses.
The “human-centred” initiative, known as AI Gateway, will be part of Advito’s Engage platform, which uses behavioural economics, communications and change management to shape traveller behaviour and propel the use of new technologies and working practices.
In a statement, Advito said that many corporates “uncover hidden challenges” once they start using AI tools, including how to educate employees and establishing “appropriate guardrails”.
Kelly Ellis, senior director, practice area lead, Engage at Advito, explained: “AI doesn’t automatically create value. The value comes from employees understanding how it fits into their work, knowing where their judgement still matters, and having the confidence to use it well. Our solution is designed to turn AI investments into tools that drive real value.”
Advito said that AI Gateway consists of four elements, including an AI readiness assessment, which evaluates an organisation’s current capabilities, priorities, stakeholders and “readiness gaps” to create practical recommendations for deploying the technology.
Other components include creating a strategy and roadmap for AI adoption; governance and implementation planning; plus adoption and change management, which covers communication, training, pilot groups and “feedback loops” to give employees the confidence to adopt AI.
