Spain has extended its current Covid-19 entry rules for another month to 15 June after they had been due to expire on 15 May.
The country’s Ministry of Interior said that the continuation of existing restrictions would apply across its land, sea and air borders. This means that all travellers continue to be subject to Covid rules.
All arriving passengers over the age of 12 from the EU and European Economic Area (EEA) are still required to present proof of vaccination or recovery from the virus. Alternatively, they can provide a certificate of a negative PCR or antigen test result taken within 72 hours or 48 hours respectively before departure to Spain.
Spain will also continue with its current regime for “third country” travellers, such as arrivals from the UK, who can only enter if they have a valid proof of full vaccination or recovery from Covid.
