BCD Travel is adding new content and capabilities to its GetGoing travel and expense platform for SME clients, as well as targeting expansion across major European and North American markets.
The TMC said it was introducing access to NDC-enabled airline content through GetGoing, as well as expanding hotel inventory and rail content, including new direct connections with major European train companies such as Germany’s Deutsche Bahn, SNCF in France, Eurostar’s operations in mainland Europe, and UK rail operators.
A BCD spokesperson confirmed to BTN Europe that NDC content was now available to GetGoing users from American Airlines, United Airlines and all carriers in the Lufthansa Group. NDC content from British Airways, Air France and KLM is due to be added during the current third quarter.
Other new capabilities set to be introduced on the GetGoing platform by the end of September include expanding virtual payment automation (VPA) to flights and rail (it is already available for hotels), adding automation for expenses in GetGoing Invoices, and using AI to improve the capture of expense receipts.
Ghislain Domi, vice president at GetGoing, said the platform was designed for SME companies that “need a simple way to manage business travel and expenses without the complexity of a traditional travel programme”.
BCD added in a statement that GetGoing also offered “flexible” profile management to SMEs for their guest travellers and non-employee bookings.
“This flexibility allows companies to support a broader range of traveller types while maintaining policy oversight and reducing administrative burden,” said the TMC.
The company added that GetGoing was seeing growth across key markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and the US.
