CWT's new president and ceo Hubert Joly has promoted three European-based executives in his latest round of company changes.
Liliana Frigerio, Richard Lovell and Philippe Vinay are given new responsibilities under the job changes.
Ms Frigerio becomes executive vice president global accounts and solutions groups with a brief to oversee global accounts and the solutions group which is CWT's consulting division.
She was previously in charge of these areas at EMEA level and head of CWT in Italy.
Mr Lovell is CWT's new chief operating officer EMEA and will have overall responsibility for the region.
It puts him on a par with Jack O'Neill and Geoffrey Marshall who have, respectively, similar responsibilities in CWT's other two regions North America and Asia Pacific and Latin America.
In his new post, Mr Lovell will run a region which has 7,000 employees and a turnover of €7.5bn. He will also be responsible for CWT's global hotel organisation.
He was formerly executive vice president EMEA in charge of geographical zones and operations.
Mr Vinay is given the new post of executive vice president in charge of human resources on a global level. He had previously held a similar job at EMEA level since 2000. The aim of the job is to “align and mobilise” CWT's 12,500 employees regarding key areas of its operations.
All three will report directly to Mr Joly who himself joined the company in July, 2004, succeeding the retiring ceo Herve Gourio.
One of his first moves was to appoint Mr O'Neill, then chief operating officer North America and himself to lead the North American business. Mr Rob Schleien, then president of CWT North America, left the company.
Of the latest changes, Mr Joly said they would strengthen CWT's ability to serve its customers and “deliver them bottom line results.”
