Singapore Airlines is bringing together its two business travel schemes for multinationals and SMEs under the HighFlyer brand.
The integration of its Corporate Travel Programme for multinationals under its SME-focused HighFlyer offering takes effect from 1 September, with the airline promising "even greater value, benefits and options for corporate customers from businesses of all sizes". All benefits of both existing programmes will also be retained.
Companies will be able to earn HighFlyer points on all eligible SIA and Scoot flights, while preferential corporate rates will be available according to membership tier. The four tiers are entry level HighFlyer, then Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each membership tier has a minimum annual spend requirement.
New features also include more eligible booking classes for HighFlyer points accrual on non-corporate discounted flights, as well as rewards for reaching specific milestones in customer spend, says the airline.
Individual travellers will continue to earn KrisFlyer miles alongside their company's HighFlyer miles.
The airline is also planning to introduce new 'earn and burn' options with other travel partners including accommodation and car rental providers.
Existing SIA Corporate Travel Programme accounts will have their contracts renewed under the HighFlyer programme.
“The corporate travel segment will remain an important market for the SIA Group as we recover,” said Lee Lik Hsin, executive vice president commercial, Singapore Airlines.
“With the integration of our corporate travel programmes, HighFlyer will deliver even more flexibility, benefits, and choices to this key group of customers. SIA is committed to continually investing in our various programmes, and better meeting the needs of all customers.”
