UK regional airline Flybe is to increase routes and frequencies for its upcoming winter schedule.
A reborn Flybe, which now has its headquarters at Birmingham airport, returned to service in April 2022 for the first time in two years.
The airline will fly from 12 airports during the winter schedule, starting from 30 October, including new routes from Cornwall Airport Newquay, as well as extra flights from Amsterdam Schiphol, Belfast City and London Heathrow airports.
Flybe will launch flights from Newquay to both Heathrow and Manchester this winter. The Heathrow service will operate twice per day on weekdays and once daily at weekends. Flights to Manchester will be daily.
The airline will also add a Glasgow-Southampton route this winter, as well as more frequencies on its Birmingham-Belfast City and East Midlands-Belfast City routes.
Flybe plans to add extra flights during the winter and into summer 2023 as it expands its fleet of Dash 8-400 aircraft.
Dave Pflieger, the airline’s CEO, said: “After a successful 2022 launch and summer season, we are excited to announce our new winter schedule, which further enhances affordable connectivity across UK regions, as well as Europe via our popular flights to Amsterdam.”
