Full data now available in US bills
Concur has signed a deal with Starwood Hotels to allow its clients to receive electronically full details of hotel bills.
The expense management company said that full folio data from Starwood bills would be automatically attached to expense reports.
Concur said the agreement would eliminate paper hotel bills which would make expense reporting easier, drive compliance and "increase traveller satisfaction".
Other benefits include "increased visibility into corporate travel spend for auditing and analysis."
This included full expense details and line level e-folio data available to managers, travellers and agents serving Concur clients.
Previously detailed information on hotel bills has not appeared on card statements. Card statements from hotels have tended to include only the total amount spent.
Concur said its Travel & Expense system would capture this data automatically and reconcile on the car "all within one seamless process."
Rajeev Singh, Concur's president and chief operating officer, said: "Together, with leading travel providers like Starwood, we're able to provide business travellers with the innovative services they need to make their lives easier and help our clients better manage spend."
