Clients get access to 4,100 hotels
Travel content provider GTA by Travelport has signed a global distribution deal with InterContinental Hotels (IHG).
The full content agreement will give GTA access to the group's 4,100 hotels with 600,000 rooms in nearly 100 countries.
Kurt Ekert, GTA's chief operating officer, said: "Our new relationship with IHG reflects our commitment to expanding our offering and ultimately enhancingthe traveller's experience by offering the widest choice in hotel accommodation, best-rate assurance and the best fit for the traveller without compromising on quality."
Andrew Rubinacci, IHG's vp distribution marketing EMEA, said the agreement supported his group's strategic expansion by providing access to GTA's multi-channel distribution network.
He added: "By expanding our relationship with GTA, we are able to provide all the advantages that IHG's global hotel portfolio and scale brings to customers through GTA's vast array of travel trade customers around the globe."
