4,000 hotels added to portfolio
Travel content provider GTA by Travelport has signed a global distribution deal with Accor.
The greement will give GTA access to the group's 4,000 hotels across more than 90 countries.
Kurt Ekert, GTA's coo, said: "This new relationship with Accor creates expanded search capabilities for our customers to help them offer travellers the best possible match and best-rate assurance, ultimately improving the end-user's experience."
Jean-Luc Chretien, Accor's executive vp distribution and sales, said: "Through our relationship with GTA, our content will be distributed through GTA's multi-channel distribution network which customers can access both online and offline.
"This agreement supports our goal of providing innovative, high-quality products to Hospitality and Services customers by expanding our reach through GTA's dynamic network."
Accor's brands range from the up-market Sofitel to the budget Ibis. Mid-market brands include Mercure and Novotel.
Last week GTA announced a similar deal with InterContinental Hotels (IHG).
