CITY INN, which claims to have created a new blueprint for contemporary style town hotels, has opened its sixth UK property.
The latest new-build, in Leeds Granary Wharf area, features 333 rooms, each with floor-to-ceiling windows that open, air-conditioning that pumps in 30 per cent more 'fresh' air than standard, multimedia iMacs for work and entertainment, complimentary loan of DVDs and CDs, and free wi-fi throughout the hotel. There is a choice of al fresco dining on the canal side or on the SkyLounge roof terrace - offering the city's best views - in addition to the main restaurant.
City Inn has hotels in Bristol, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and a Westminster London hotel, with two more (Amsterdam and the Tower of London) planned to open in 2011.
