Enrolment on two Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC) training courses ends next Wednesday (September 8).
The GTMC Consultant Certificate in Business Travel and the more advanced GTMC Management Certificate in Business Travel, both run in central London, still have places left.
John Williams, GTMC's general manager, said: "The GTMC is particularly keen to encourage training in the business travel community.
"In conjunction with The Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality, we have developed three different levels of business travel qualification with the Consultant and Management courses due to start this month."
The consultant course is designed for retail staff whowant to enter the business travel sector. There are a maximum of 12 delegates in each training group.
The course, run over two to three months with two to three hours self-study per week, covers arranging travel itineraries, standard and discounted air fares for business travellers, rail travel and ancillary services.
The management course covers staff management, marketing, financial control, offices systems and technology, law and office administration.
It is designed for those who manage staff and is run over nine months, which includes workshops and self study.
The courses will begin later this month, although a start date has yet to be announced.
