Budget carrier Wizz Air is expanding its operations at Sweden’s Malmö Airport with the addition of a new route between Malmö and Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.
The Hungary-based airline will introduce the new route on 15 December. Flights to Pristina will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, using A321 Neo aircraft fitted with 239 seats.
Elizabeth Axtelius, director of aviation business at airport operator Swedavia, said the new route will support business travel, investment, trade and “closer economic ties” between Kosovo and Sweden.
