EXPOTEL HAS BEEN awarded CarbonNeutral company status for the third year running after reducing its carbon footprint by 29 per cent since the 2007 audit.
Among other eco-friendly initiatives, the travel management company is offering discounted public transport tickets for staff commuting to work, organising car-sharing schemes, and switching company cars from petrol to diesel.
"This significant reduction of our emissions by 29 per cent since 2007 is something we are extremely proud of," says Steve Hall, Expotel's client services director. "We have been able to ensure that our company remains committed to the environment and that we promote an environmentally aware culture within Expotel."
