AMERICAN EXPRESS BUSINESS TRAVEL has extended its eXplore web portal to the UK. The tool was launched in North America and continental Europe last year. The eXplore system enables users to book travel, receive news and alerts from American Express or their own company, view destination information, access itineraries and invoices, and "employ relevant travel tools", such as a currency converter.
Paul Hargreaves, Amex UK and Ireland business travel vice-president and general manager, says: "eXplore helps corporations maximise savings by increasing online travel booking adoption rates, driving efficiencies through faster access to content and increasing compliance to policy through targeted reinforcing communication."
