EXCEL, THE DOCKLANDS exhibition and meetings complex, is offering organisers tailor-made packages aimed at events with 20 or more delegates.
James Rees, director of conferences & events, says: "We have seen an increase in demand for smaller meetings and conferences, particularly within the corporate and public sectors. Short lead business is also on the increase owing to the pressures put on organisations by the current economic climate.
"In response to this, we have put a large investment of time and money into developing this initiative, including a complete overhaul of our current meetings and conference facilities and services across the Gallery meeting rooms and Platinum conference suite."
ExCeL London, located on a 100-acre site alongside Royal Victoria Dock between Canary Wharf and London City airport, has hosted more than 2,500 events, including trade and consumer shows, conferences, sales meetings, product launches, AGMs and awards ceremonies, since opening in 2000.
