Carolyn McCall will open the Institute of Travel and Meeting’s Intelligence conference in London.
The Easyjet CEO will join leading economist Ian Goldin in addressing the conference during the initial session, Thinking Big.
McCall is expected to speak about the impact of broader business changes and industry issues on the world of aviation and corporate travel.
McCall joined ITM in July 2010 from the Guardian Media Group, where she was also CEO. She was awarded the OBE for services to women in business in the Queens Birthday Honours List in June 2008.
Jamie Hindhaugh, ITM’s chairman, said the ITM Intelligence conference will be “an intimate and exhilarating event”.
The annual conference, which is now fully booked, will this year be held at Heythrop Park near London.
