STRONG ECONOMIC GROWTH in South America has tempted KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to resume flights to Buenos Aires after a 10-year absence.
The Dutch carrier will start flying three times per week between its Amsterdam hub and the Argentine capital from October 31. The route, which will be operated with a B777-200ER in a two-class configuration (economy and business), may increase in frequency to four times per week, from March 2012.
Flight KL707 will depart Amsterdam Schiphol airport at 10.10 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Buenos Aires at 20.20.
From Buenos Aires, flight KL708 departs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 22.20, arriving in Amsterdam the following day at 15.35pm.
Fellow Skyteam member Aerolineas Argentinas will offer KLM customers connecting flights from Buenos Aires to other destinations in Argentina.
