HOGG ROBINSON GROUP (HRG) has won the Department for International Development (DFID) travel management account, the first to be awarded under the government's new Buying Solutions Travel Management Services (BSTMS) framework.
The company has also retained defence and aerospace giant Cobham's travel account, which it has held since 2006. HRG Italia has secured the travel management business of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) Group, which is already handled by HRG.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel, meanwhile, has been appointed to handle travel for Bakehouse, described as the UK's leading supplier of continental bakery products.
