THE ASSOCIATION OF Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has partnered with Cornerstone Information Systems to create the ACTE Index: the world's first key performance indicator of the global economy based on business travel.
ACTE and Cornerstone will organise corporate travel data from multiple regions and industries and match it with global economic barometers.
Mat Orrego, Cornerstone president and CEO, said. "ACTE will leverage Cornerstone's data management capabilities to match up corporate travel data with regional economic indicators to create the next generation of travel program predictability tools.
ACTE will continue surveying business travel statistics and travel trend indicators from its influential industry members to correlate the impact of travel to the global economic outlook. The results will be shared monthly in a newsletter to ACTE members and on acte.org.
