Travel management company Click Travel has restructured its senior leadership team.
The restructure will see the creation of an executive chairman and a new senior leadership team.
Under the new structure, Jill Palmer is promoted from operations director to managing director with Simon McLean (pictured) moving to the newly created role of executive chairman.
The board is completed by James McLean, who maintains his position as finance and commercial director.
Replacing Palmer in operations is Chris Vince, currently head of account management.
In addition, a new Senior Leadership Team (SLT) has been created, tasked with ensuring the realisation of the vision and strategy of the board on a day to day basis. The SLT will report to the managing director and is made up of: Vicki Williams - director of customer solutions, Chris Vince - director of operations, Gareth Harris - financial controller, Matt Steer - head of product, together with a new director of sales.
"We are in a great position commercially and this restructuring will help us grow our brand to reach an even wider audience," says new executive chairman, Simon McLean.
"With Jill taking day to day control as MD, I can concentrate my efforts on developing our technology and our vision, to make sure we remain at the cutting edge of corporate travel management. We were early pioneers of online booking and are looking forward to developing the next generation of client-focussed technology, as well as maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer service.”
The restructure and connected appointments take effect from July 13. The director of sales will be appointed within the next few months.
