European mobility specialist Bolt has created an employee-pay mode within its Bolt for Business corporate portal.
Estonia-based ground transport platform Bolt said that the development will allow travellers to pay for rides using their corporate cards, rather than personal payment methods, and then reclaim expenses through existing process within Bolt for Business. It is available for companies who are business account customers with Bolt.
Bolt also offers a company-mode option allowing corporates to centrally pay for employee rides through a company payment method.
Amy Hackett, global operations director at Bolt for Business, said: “The new employee-pay mode helps companies maintain full visibility into spending and policy enforcement, while allowing employees to pay for business rides with their corporate card and to reclaim expenses through existing processes.
“This is how modern businesses take control of travel spending, without adding complexity for the people on the move.”
Bolt, which was launched in 2018, offers a range of mobility services, including ride-hailing, car-sharing, plus car, scooter and e-bike rental, across 50 markets. The company said it had more than 70,000 companies using its platform at the end of 2025.
