Scottish
chauffeur drive company Little’s has invested in new ozone sanitation
technology as part of its post-Covid recovery plans.
The
company is now cleaning its fleet of 40 vehicles across its Edinburgh and
Glasgow bases using new ozone generators “designed to ensure exceptional levels
of in-car hygiene and cleanliness”.
The
technology from sanitation specialist Supagard eliminates bacteria and viruses
without the use of harsh chemicals and surface products, says Little’s.
Additional
hygiene measures include the wearing of face masks by all drivers, the
provision of in-car hand sanitiser and new procedures for handling luggage.
Little’s
achieved a 39 per cent increase in turnover in 2019 and, prior to the
coronavirus outbreak, was on course for further growth in 2020. International
bookings through its global network account for around 40 per cent of its
revenue.
“Thankfully
we are starting to see the seeds of recovery as lockdown eases, with bookings
picking up internationally
and in certain business sectors,” says Little’s managing director Heather
Matthews.
“We
acknowledge that this will be a slow process and that some sectors will recover
faster than others, but we’ll continue to be led by a deep understanding of
clients and the sector to drive the recovery process.”
