Deal grants "unhindered access" for five years
Emirates has signed a five year full content agreement with Amadeus giving agencies access to its full range of fares, schedules and inventory.
Amadeus said Emirate's offering on its global distribution service (GDS) will be the same as any other indirect or direct channel or website, and under the same conditions.
Philippe Chérèque, Amadeus' executive vp, commercial, said "unhindered access" to content would help agents in key growth areas such as Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
Keith Longstaff, divisional senior vp, commercial operations worldwide at Emirates, said the airline "remains fully committed" to working with travel agencies as it adds routes in Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Amadeus now has 131 full inventory agreements with airlines, representing more than 255 million bookings a year.
In December last year, Amadeus teamed up with Etihad to launch the Amadeus Gulf GDS for travel companies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain and Oman.
