Air Canada has resumed its year-round route from London Heathrow to Halifax in Nova Scotia.
The resumption of Air Canada’s latest transatlantic service means that it now flies from London to five destinations in Canada with up to nine flights per day this summer – the other destinations are Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal and Calgary.
The Heathrow-Halifax services will operate up to seven times per week using a Boeing 737 Max aircraft with economy and premium economy cabins.
Stephen Gerrard, Air Canada’s general manager sales, UK and Ireland, said: “This is great news for our British customers as they plan their next trip to Canada. As we expand our schedule from the UK, our non-stop flights from London to Halifax will provide our customers with even greater travel choice.”
Air Canada also flies between Dublin and Toronto and will be resuming several seasonal services next month: Edinburgh-Toronto (1 June), Manchester-Toronto (1 June), Dublin-Montreal (2 Junes) and Dublin-Vancouver (3 June).
