The Norwegian Business Travel Association has appointed Siv Amalie Lunde as its new managing director.
Lunde brings managerial experience from across the business travel sector, having held senior leadership roles at SAS Ground Handling and Nova Spektrum convention centre. She has also served as commercial director for Europcar Norway and as general manager of both Hotel Continental and Merlin Hotels. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant since January 2025.
In a statement, Lunde said she intends to establish a “clearer agenda” for the association, with a focus on creating value for members.
"NBTA has a good foundation and an important role in the industry. Now we want to build on this and make it even clearer what value NBTA creates for its members and for the business community… We should contribute with insight that provides a better basis for decision-making, networks that create new opportunities and activities that produce results that members can see and measure,” she said.
That work is set to begin this autumn, when Lunde will work “closely” with members on a “new and aggressive value strategy” for the association.
The NBTA board said it has “great confidence” in Lunde as the organisation’s new leader.
"Siv has a combination of commercial experience, leadership experience and understanding of organisational development that we believe is a great fit for NBTA,” said chairwoman Marianne Asphaug Tønsberg.
Lunde takes over from Carl Moltzau, who departed NBTA earlier this year after less than three years with the association.
