Radisson Hotel Group is to
open seven new hotels in Italy by the end of the year including two under its
new Radisson Individuals brand, the company has announced.
The Radisson Collection Hotel Palazzo Nani Venice is a 52-room and
three-apartment boutique hotel in a restored 16th century palace close
to the Ponte delle Guglie and overlooking the Cannaregio canal.
The 89-room Radisson
Collection Hotel Palazzo Touring Club Milan is located in the former headquarters
of the Touring Club Italiano, founded in 1894. It has been extensively renovated and includes the Club’s
historic library.
Both will open over the
summer.
Florence’s 329-room Radisson
Blu will open on 1 December and will be one of the largest convention centres
in the city, with more than 1,500 sqm of meeting spaces.
Two properties from the group's upscale Radisson brand, which offers Scandinavian-inspired hospitality,
will open their doors in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna and Nola, in the Naples metropolitan area.
Radisson’s newest brand, Individuals, comes to Italty with the opening
of the 102-room Borgo di Luce I Monasteri
Golf Resort & Spa in Sicily and the 49-suite Alagna Mountain Resort &
Spa.
Chema Basterrechea, executive
vice president and chief operating officer of Radisson Hotel Group said: “I
