Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the opening of Hyatt Place Krakow on Thursday, marking the first Hyatt hotel in the city as well as the company’s return to Poland as it looks to expand its portfolio across Europe.
Located in the Krowodrza neighbourhood, known as ‘the green lungs of Krakow’, the 216-room hotel features a restaurant and bar, a ‘market’ with 24-hour snacks and grab-and-go meals, as well as 147sqm of space for meetings and events.
The pet-friendly hotel includes accessible features in guest rooms and shared spaces, while a nearby tram stop connects to the city’s major historical landmarks.
“We are delighted to bring the Hyatt brand back to Poland and open the doors at Hyatt Place Krakow,” said general manager Beata Kowalczyk.
“We represent an exciting new offering in the city that caters to the needs of multitasking, international travellers, from business trips to weekend breaks.”
The hotel joins more than 400 Hyatt Place properties globally, including Hyatt Place London City East and Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport, as well as near airports in Zurich, Paris, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
