THE REZIDOR HOTEL GROUP is taking over the 435-room Jan III Sobieski Hotel Warsaw (pictured) and rebranding it as the Radisson Blu Sobieski Hotel, in a deal with owner Wenaasgruppen.
It is due to open before the end of the year and will be the ninth Rezidor hotel in Poland.
An extensive renovation programme for the property is expected to complete in 2015 and will include more guestrooms, a wellness area, retail outlets and 1,400sq m conference centre.
