Egyptair is to launch a new route later this year linking Cairo and Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport.
The North African carrier will operate the year-round Cairo-Stockholm route four times per week starting on 18 December.
Egyptair plans to use Airbus A321neo aircraft on the route, which are configured with 182 seats across economy and business class cabins. Flights will operate on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Aron Backström, chief commercial officer at Swedavia, which operates Stockholm Arlanda Airport, said Egypt was a “popular” destination for business travellers.
“The new route makes travel between our countries easier while also providing convenient onward connections to destinations across the Middle East and Africa through Egyptair’s extensive network,” added Backström.
