Virgin Atlantic has signed a full access deal to its content with Travelport, owners of leading GDS Galileo.
The "multi-year" deal will also allow Virgin to distribute its fares through other Travelport companies including Orbitz, ebookers and CheapTickets.
Virgin and Travelport have also agreed to work together to "identify and develop new distribution opportunities."
Virgin will also look into how it can use other Travelport companies like OctopusTravel.com, a hotel booking engine, and GTA, a hotel content agency, for other services to its customers.
Travelport said the deal was "indicative of the very different type of distribution partnership that needs to exist in a rapidly changing travel industry."
Matthew Hall, Travelport's vp airline business development, said: "We are determined to deliver full airline content for our agency customers and have again demonstrated that we can do this whilst at the same time recognizing the increasing distribution challenges that face airlines today."
Travelport was formerly known as Cendant TDS and was sold earlier this month by its parent company the Cendant Corproration to the Blacskstone Group, a private investment company for $4.3bn.
