WORK HAS BEGUN on a multi-million pound refurbishment aimed at establishing the Novotel London West as one of Europe's leading conference and convention hotels.
The plans, unveiled at December's EIBTM event in Barcelona, will see various public areas of the 630-room property transformed, including the Chablis Suite. This will be totally re-designed, with the addition of floating sound-proof walls, giving it a capability of handling meetings of various sizes up to 500 delegates, as well as exhibitions and receptions for 1,000 people.
In total, the hotel has function space for up to 3,000 people across 32 meeting rooms. The final phase of the work will see the upgrading of the hotel's exterior, seen from the Hammersmith flyover, including the cladding and signage.
