TWO THIRDS OF GERMAN hotel reservations service Hotel.de has been bought by HRS.
Online hotel booking firm HRS, whose headquarters are in Cologne, already owned 3 per cent of Nuremberg-based Hotel.de and is now the majority stakeholder with a total of 64.6 per cent.
Hotel.de, which also trades as hotel.info, will continue to be managed as a standalone company by its existing team. The company currently serves more than four million private and corporate customers worldwide on its books, and a stock of 210,000 hotels.
