A rail strike planned by the RMT union has been cancelled after the High Court in London granted Network Rail an injunction.
The company was successful with allegations that the union's ballot was "littered with discrepancies".
The strike was supposed to start on Tuesday after the Easter break.
The RMT had planned to strike over Network Rail's plans to cut 1,500 jobs and increase evening and weekend maintenance work.
Union officials claimed the plans would affect rail safety.
