Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker is to make the keynote speech at the Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC) autumn conference.
The Parliamentary Under Secretary of State Transport, who is also the member for Lewes, is likely to talk to GTMC members about travel's impact on the environment, the future of domestic rail and why expansion at Heathrow should be opposed.
Chief executive Anne Godfrey said: "The conference promises to be a lively affair as Norman Baker is well known for his forthright views.
"During his first three months, after election as Liberal Democrat MP for Lewes, he asked more questions than his Conservative predecessor had in 23 years.
"He's passionate about the environment and very pro rail; we plan to have a panel discussion with air, road and rail speakers, which we hope will get everyone engaged."
The conference will be the first travel industry organisation to meet at the newly renovated Savoy Hotel - part of the Fairmont Hotel collection - after its reopens on October 10.
