Global Secure Accreditation (GSA) has launched a new programme allowing organisations to have their travel risk management processes and policies assessed and audited against the new ISO 31030 standard.
The standard, which was finalised last year, provides the first global benchmark for the best practice in delivering duty of care to employees.
GSA is offering an ISO 31030 Organisation Readiness Assessment and Audit Programme, with accountancy giant PwC becoming the first company to receive certification under this new programme.
Lee Whiteing, commercial director at GSA, said: “In an increasingly uncertain world, it is important to provide people with assurance. The GSA ISO 31030 Organisation Assessment and Audit Programme enables organisations to check their compliance and address any issues quickly and effectively.”
Richard Stanley, PwC’s UK security lead, said its experience of going through GSA’s assessment process was “extremely positive”.
“The audit was rigorous but was conducted in a way that avoided undue disruption to our business,” added Stanley.
