Virgin Atlantic has created a website devoted to travel agents.
The new site, www.vsflyinghub.com, offers information on the airline’s policies, products and destinations.
It will also have competitions and special offers exclusively for travel agents.
Paul Wait, Virgin’s general manager sales, said the new website “really underlines Virgin Atlantic’s longstanding commitment to the trade”.
He said: “We recognise that the trade is an essential part of the whole customer journey and want to provide them with as much information and as many tools as possible to help them.”
The website will allow agents to tailor information to their needs, creating scrapbooks of personalised content from the site.
To launch the site, Virgin is offering all agents the opportunity to win a trip to New York, including two return Upper Class tickets, four nights in the Gansevoort hotel and dinner at Nobu New York.
Initially launched in the UK, US, South Africa and Australia, the new site will be available for all other English speaking regions during August, followed by Hong Kong, Japan and China later in 2011.
