VLM says rising demand means it will add further services from London City Airport (LCY) and Manchester to Luxembourg.
From 28 October, VLM will increase weekly flights from LCY to 21, while those from Manchester, via the London airport, will rise from 12 to 18.
”In the first six months of this year, we carried 12% more passengers between LCY and Luxembourg, while forward sales are up 24%,” said VLM regional manager UK, Alan Daniels.
”Demand for our Manchester-Luxembourg service has grown enormously, with more than 400% more passengers travelling with us during the first six months of 2007, than the same period in 2006. Many of these are business travellers visiting Luxembourg on day trips.”
