Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air is to launch its first regular route to Europe with flights linking Tashkent and Frankfurt.
The airline plans to operate the Tashkent-Frankfurt route twice per week from 30 March, with flights on Monday and Friday.
Centrum Air said launching flights to Europe was a “key milestone in the company’s history and an important step in the expansion of its international route network”.
The airline plans to use Airbus A321neo aircraft on the new Frankfurt route, which is configured with 221 seats in a single economy cabin.
Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, founder and CEO of parent company Centrum Holding, said: “We are delighted to launch our first European destination as we continue to expand our route network to support the growing flow of passengers between Asia and Europe.”
