KLM is to launch its first services using Airbus A350 aircraft from early October on the Amsterdam-Toronto route.
The Dutch carrier will then use its second A350 on services from Amsterdam to Dar es Salaam, Nairobi and Montreal from 30 November. A third A350 is due to arrive in March 2027.
KLM’s A350 will be configured with 331 seats across three cabins, including 34 seats in World Business Class and 26 seats in Premium Comfort. Sister carrier Air France has been operating A350s since 2019.
In other changes to its winter schedule, KLM is adding frequencies on its routes from Schiphol to Dar es Salaam, Tokyo Narita, Osaka Kansai and São Paulo. KLM will also be laying on three extra weekly flights from Amsterdam to Las Vegas from 4-10 January to cater for demand from attendees of the CES 2027 technology show.
Meanwhile, Air France will add two extra weekly flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Martinique in the Caribbean in March 2027, taking frequencies up to twice daily during the month.
