A fourth day of heavy snow has forced a number of airports in Scotland and the south east of England to close, leaving airlines with little option but to cancel flights.
Edinburgh airport has been closed for four days, while Gatwick airport enters its second day of closure.
Edinburgh said it hopes to reopen at 4pm today, but Gatwick is set to remain closed until at least tomorrow.
London City was able to start operating flights yesterday, after a day of flight cancellations on November 30, but has again been forced to close this morning. It hopes to reopen its runway after 12 noon.
Southampton airport is also closed and does not expect to open before 2pm today.
Glasgow airport remains open, as does Aberdeen, Heathrow and Manchester.
