Swiss carrier Sky Work Airlines has signed a distribution agreement with Travelport.
The deal means Sky Work Airlines’ schedules and fares will be listed for the first time on Travelport’s Worldspan and Galileo global distribution systems (GDS).
Its listing on the GDS is an important step in the airline’s expansion plans, according to Timo Fabian, ground operations for Sky Work.
He said: “Travelport stood out to us as the ideal business services provider to sign with due to their extensive global distribution and technology portfolio.
“Travelport is recognised locally as a friendly GDS to partner with and we look forward to the opportunities that this new agreement will provide.”
The Swiss airline recently launched flights from its Bern hub to London City airport.
